Army National Guard

Planned, supervised, and integrated the installation, operation, and maintenance of technical radio communications equipment. Planned and provided company training for communications systems and user maintenance. Prepared maintenance and supply requests for all equipment. Responsible for equipment worth over $130,000.
 
Achievements and Actions:
 
• Successfully coordinated and planned a logistical support system for radio communications while overseeing the implementation of all communications hardware during field exercises and statewide annual training exercises in support of over 60 military personnel.
 
• Planned and implemented an inventory system for my signals office that consisted of records organization, maintenance scheduling, and inventory of equipment valuing at over $130,000.

April 2014 - January 2015

Maintenance Support Team, Motor Sergeant, Section Chief
Army National Guard

Managed a group of 7 soldiers including 1 other NCO who provided maintenance assistance to over 20 highly technical vehicles. Responsible for maintenance, and combat mission readiness of government property in excess of over $42.2 million. Directly responsible for the accountability of equipment and vehicles in excess of $1.1 million. Coordinated tracking of scheduled and unscheduled services, installation of repair parts, and training of shop safety. Acted as a maintenance safety officer for over 80 soldiers. Responsible for service, deadline and USR reports as well as overall motor pool effectiveness.
 
Achievements and Actions:
 
• Coordinated with higher level management and communicated the status of maintenance schedules, operability statuses, and manpower issues.
 
• Effectively managed a group of subordinates to accomplish a state level mission in support of the Governor for possible state activation, for state fires, floods, and protection of its citizens with no injuries or vehicle loss.

March 2013 - April 2014

Information Technology Specialist / LAN Manager, NCO
Army National Guard

Managed an upper-level IT section with 10 employees underneath me in support of over 400 personnel and all communications/networking equipment used. Performed senior operator and systems administrator duties; compiled production report data and quality control information.
 
Achievements and Actions:
 
• Successfully coordinated, planned, and helped implement an information technology infrastructure to be used during a statewide military exercise called CPX (Command Post Exercise) in support of over 200 civilian and military personnel.
 
• Successfully coordinated, planned, and helped implement during statewide Annual Training military exercises a logistical support system for radio communications and network systems in support of over 400 military personnel.
 
• Planned and implemented an inventory system for the IT section that consisted of records organization, maintenance scheduling, and inventory of equipment with a value of over $1,200,000.

August 2009 - March 2013

Automated Logistical Specialist
United States Army

Provided daily and monthly readiness reports for motor pool equipment to the Commander. Established and maintained operations records as well as maintenance records. Provided support and training for technical equipment and software. Handled and maintained over 100 lines of parts, including ordering responsibility and turn-in of excess parts. Maintained records on incoming and outgoing stock.
 
Achievements and Actions:
 
• Achieved a 98% audit success rate from a Government contractor in records handling.
 
• Planned and implemented an inventory control system for a maintenance workshop of over 40 vehicles that consisted of maintenance scheduling, records handling, and inventory of over 1000 vehicle parts.
 
• Maintained the status of 6 vehicles that had to have an up-time of 99% 365 days a year while communicating and coordinating with higher management to achieve that status.
 
• Communicated effectively and planned with higher management during top level staff meetings to support critical missions.
